We defeated a rollback of Prop 47. ARC’s Sam Lewis gave testimony against AB 1599, the dangers of tough-on-crime legislation, and how felony records have negatively impacted our communities because of Prop 47, we have reduced the prison population while expunging records across CA. Prop 47 savings have supported our communities with drug treatment, mental health, victims’ services, and many other vital resources.
